Confidentiality is at the heart of therapy. This page explains what personal information I collect, why, how I keep it safe, and the choices you have.

Who I am

This website and practice are run by Zehavah Handler Therapy Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14752180). For data protection purposes, Zehavah Handler Therapy Ltd is the data controller for your information. I am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), registration number ZB244951.

What information I collect

When you get in touch: your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), what you’re interested in, and anything you include in your message. Please avoid sharing detailed personal or medical information before we’ve spoken.

When you visit this website: basic technical information such as your browser type and pages visited, collected by the website host to keep the site secure and working.

If we work together

Before we begin, you’ll receive my therapy agreement, which explains in full how I keep and protect your information during and after therapy, including confidentiality and its limits.

Who else may see it

Your enquiry is handled through my email provider (Google Workspace) and website host (Diamant Solutions), who process it only on my behalf and keep it secure.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that don’t lead to therapy are deleted within 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you, or object to how I use it. Email hello@zehavahhandlertherapy.com and I will respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
